When scar tissue forms because of an accident, illness or surgery, it can lead to pulling or tightening of tissue or lack of sensation and mobility in the surrounding areas effected.
This is the original work of Rolfer, Sharon Wheeler, who started working with scars tissue during Structural Integration sessions. Through the use of gentle yet effective techniques, this light touch increases lymph flow, circulation and re-integrates the scar tissue back into the fascial web and restores function to the area.
